Did you know that you must maintain at least 160 degree water? Why? If the water is too cold, usually below 155 degrees the packs will grow bacteria and expand. Eventually they will explode and you will also get a fish odor as well.
Maintaining the water level and changing the water often will increase the life of your hot pack machine.

Stim, ultrasound and light therapy machines require annual maintenance. The unit itself can sometimes be fully functional for years and years without any problems, but did you know that the lead wires should be at least checked annually. The carbon stim pads should be replaced every 6 months and the sound head should be checked with an ultrasound watt meter annually.
J & S Medical can check your equipment to ensure its working at its peak performance. Some repairs can be made in your facility, in some cases we may have to take your unit to our shop for repairs. We offer a loaner unit if available at your request.
